Trick-or-treat adult style is on the marquee at the Princess Theatre in Prosser with two showings of the original The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, October 25 at 8 PM and midnight.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is not a horror film; it is a rock-musical send-up of old science-fiction and horror films. Originally a stage play, the movie was released in 1975, and has become a cult classic interactive experience. 

As part of the RHPS experience, attendees are encouraged to dress up in costumes, yell back lines at the movie and act out the film with a bag of props. The $20 ticket reserves your seat for the movie and includes a props kit with the script, bubbles, newspaper, toast and more, plus entry to the pre-show parties at 6:30 and 10:30 PM in The Green Room. Due to theatre policy, attendees will not be permitted to bring their own props into the theatre. 

The pre-show parties will include selfie stations, games, complimentary popcorn, no-host concessions and bar, with hot food also available for purchase.

The Princess Theatre is presenting The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the permission of 20th Century Fox. The movie is rated “R.” Those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Common Folk: Trillium-239

Join us for an evening of folk music featuring the three-part harmonies of Trillium-239, food and fun in The Green Room at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, music from 7 to 9 PM.

Paninis, charcuterie, and snacks, local wines, beers, hard ciders, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $10 each. Students are admitted free. Student ID required for middle school and above.

Comedy Night with Phil Kopczynski & Charles Hall Jr.

Ready to laugh again?? Please join us on Friday, November 1 in The Green Room for Comedy Night with Phil Kopczynski. Born and raised in the mountains of eastern Washington, Phillip started comedy at age 11 doing pratfalls to make his Down Syndrome sister laugh. Always pulling from life experiences and poorly thought out opinions, His animated storytelling pulls in audiences for an eccentric good time. He has been seen from Vancouver, BC to Orlando, FL. In 2018 he placed second at Seattle International Comedy Competition. His Drybar Special-- Full Grown Man -- has been viewed over a million times.

Opening for Phil is Charles Hall Jr. Charles started comedy in Seattle WA 2019 and since then he has headlined and featured on shows throughout the country. He has performed at many prestigious venues such as the Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory. In 2021 he was voted one of Spokane’s Funniest Comedians. Charles is known for his unique perspective on life, everyday experiences and being a dad. With over 60k followers and over 2 million likes on his social media pages, he's a rising comic you don't want to miss.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with a selection of food and beverages available for purchase, including paninis, charcuterie, local wines and beers, soft drinks and water. The laughter begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 each; show recommended for ages 18+ due to adult humor and situations.

Don't Miss This Concert: Patterns Fly

Patterns Fly comprises guitarist Andy Coe and drummer D'Vonne Lewis, both from Seattle, and keyboardist Galen Clark from Portland. They play a blend of “pocket heavy organ trio funk and psychedelic mind-bending groove music. The resulting sound fuses high energy synth bass heavy funk and experimental electronic tinged jazz.”

Classical Suites: J2 Duo

Chamber music returns to The Green Room. Sunday, November 3, join us for J2 Duo, with trombone and piano.

Ben & Friends: Jimi Beeler Trio

On the first Thursday of each month, Ben Macy will be joined in The Green Room by a changing roster of musicians. On Thursday, November 7, Ben will be joined by the Jimi Beeler Trio, playing gypsy jazz music in the tradition of Django Reinhardt. The Trio includes guitar virtuoso Jimi Beeler, Dave Kennedy on guitar, and Gary Danielson on reeds.

Come join the amazing 3rd grade students from Whitstran Elementary on the African savanna as they bring Disney's The Lion King KIDS to life on the stage. The Lion King KIDS features the music from the classic animated film and the hit Broadway musical written by Elton John and Tim Rice. Join Simba, Rafiki, Timon and Pumba and an unforgettable cast of animals as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale produced in partnership with Prosser School District and the Princess Theatre.

Performances will be Friday, November 8 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, November 9 at 2:30 PM. The Green Room will open 1 hour before each show with a selection of hot sandwiches, charcuterie, candy, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Tickets are $5 per person. Lap children are admitted free. Children in their own seat must have a ticket. Booster seats are available.

Classical Suites: Cor Unum & Atomic Beer Choir

The Cor Unum Sacred Music Choir and the Atomic Chapter Beer Choir will combine their talents for  “The Sacred and the Profane: An Evening of Choral Entertainment.” Sublime choral harmonies will meet spirited revelry for a music program of "divine grace and hearty cheer."

Shamrock & Sage

Join us for a night of Irish music, food and fun with Shamrock & Sage in The Green Room at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, music from 7 to 9 PM.

Cady Heron may have grown up on the African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends. 

Based on Tina Fey's popular hit motion picture, and the Broadway show,  Mean Girls JR. has been adapted for younger performers so they can shine on stage here at the Princess Theatre. 

Performances will be Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, November 24 at 2:30 PM. The Green Room will open 1 hour before each show with a selection of hot sandwiches, charcuterie, candy, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Blackjack & Bubbly New Year’s Eve Bash

Dress in your Vegas best and ring in 2025 with a fun-filled Vegas-style evening at The Green Room at Princess Theatre!

This event is for ages 21+. Your ticket includes a Vegas-style buffet, including vegetarian options; two drinks of your choice; a sparkling toast at midnight; live music by Bourbon & Bellows, playing New-Orleans influenced folk, blues, and gypsy jazz.

The Bash also includes gambling with roulette, craps, blackjack, and poker; raffles and prizes; no-host bar, including mixed drinks; complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. Gambling chips will be available for purchase the night of the event.

Doors will open at 8:30 PM, and the event will end at 12:30 AM on January 1!

Tickets are $100 per person, with a $20 discount for Princess Theatre company members, season ticket holders, and Crown Contributors.
