The Face on the Barroom Floor

The Face on the Barroom Floor is a classic melodrama with villains, a damsel in distress, and … a surprise! Sinister villains try to separate singer Madelaine Mockingbird, a former chambermaid, from the fortune left to her by an old miner and from her true love, Jack "Toulouse" Goodhart, painter turned tramp.

Evening performances are at 7:30 PM Friday, August 2; Saturday, August 3; Friday, August 9; and Saturday, August 10.

Matinee performances are 2:30 PM Sunday, August 4; and Sunday, August 11.

Tickets are $20 per person.

Student Rush Tickets will be $15 at the door only on the day of show, as space permits.

Po must train a new warrior when he's chosen to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. However, when a powerful shape-shifting sorceress sets her eyes on his Staff of Wisdom, he suddenly realizes he's going to need some help. Mid-Columbia Libraries and Princess Theatre invite teens and adults to attend this FREE presentation by James Clarkson, UFO researcher and author.

Doors of The Green Room will open at noon, with a food and beverage menu available; the program will begin at 1 PM.

James Clarkson is an investigator who has stood in two worlds for many years: as a career professional investigator in the criminal justice field as detective sergeant, training officer, and state fraud investigator, and as a lifelong researcher of the UFO mystery.

In 1987 he joined the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and over the next 30 years investigated more than 2,000 UFO reports. He was the Washington State MUFON Director from 2007 to 2017.

This is an hour-long presentation, with time for a Q&A afterward. Clarkson's books, “Tell My Story: June Crane, the Air Force and UFOs” and “Westport UFO Crash Retrieval Event,” will be available for sale.

This presentation is part of MCL's 2024 Summer Reading Program.

Flat Possum Pickers

Join us for a night of bluegrass music, food and fun with Prosser's own Flat Possum Pickers in The Green Room at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Doors will open at 6:15 PM, music from 7 to 9 PM.

Paninis, charcuterie, and snacks, local wines, beers, hard ciders, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
