Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's Rent follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians as they struggle to survive and create in New York City. This musical explores how these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves, and conflicts under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Evening performances are at 7:30 PM Friday, May 9; Saturday, May 10; Friday, May 16; and Saturday, May 17.

Matinee performances are 2:30 PM Sunday, May 11; and Sunday, May 18.

Tickets are $20 per person.

Student Rush Tickets will be $15 at the door only on the day of show, as space permits.

Come enjoy an evening of original songwriting, and a sharing of songs with Keeler, Morse,
and Webb. Keeler, Morse and Webb are award winning instrumentalist and songwriter Brad
Keeler, beloved Inland Northwest bluesman and songwriter Lyle Morse, and award-winning
songwriter Patrice Webb. These three old friends have come together to present original
songs in a “Songwriter in the Round” format bringing intimacy and warmth to folk, swing
and the blues.

Paninis, charcuterie, and snacks, local wines, beers, hard ciders, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS

Come join the 1st grade students from Keene-Riverview Elementary as they bring Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS to life on the stage. The jungle is jumpin' with a jazzy beat in Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS features a host of colorful characters and your favorite songs from the movie.

Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. When Shere Khan returns, our heroes must rally their fellow animals into battle and restore peace throughout the jungle.

Produced in partnership with Prosser School District and the Princess Theatre.

Jazz in The Green Room: Skyler Mendell Quintet

In Concert: Skyler Mendell Sextet

Join us for an evening of music, food and fun in The Green Room at the Princess Theatre on Thursday, February 6, 2025 featuring the Skyler Mendell Sextet. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, music from 7 to 9 PM.

The Skyler Mendell Sextet was formed in Missoula, Montana when Skyler was a student there. Their first record, Points In Time, features all original compositions that draw influences from the 100+ year history of recorded jazz. The second iteration of the Sextet is currently based in Greeley, Colorado where Skyler is pursuing a doctorate in Jazz Studies. The members are some of the most in demand musicians, composers, and arrangers in the Front Range, each with their own incredible achievements. Together, they produce a modern, original, and innovative sound that is informed by the tradition. They are excited to bring their music on the road this summer!

Comedy Night with Bo Johnson

Comedy Night with Bo Johnson

Bo Johnson headlines clubs, breweries, and appropriately sized theaters across the United States and Canada. His stand up has been featured on Netflix is a Joke Radio, season two of Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City on Comedy Central, Don’t Tell Comedy Secret Sets, & LOL Live! at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He was a finalist in the 39th annual Seattle International Comedy Competition and is a regular at festivals including Bumbershoot, SF Sketchfest, the Double Down Comedy Experience sponsored by Zappos, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Rifflandia in Victoria BC, Prizefest, and Big Pine Comedy Festival in Phoenix. Bo has been the open act at theatre shows for comedians like Marc Maron, Jessica Kirson, & Dave Nihill. With a growing online audience Bo’s jokes have been viewed millions of times online.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with a selection of food and beverages available for purchase, including paninis, charcuterie, local wines and beers, soft drinks and water. The laughter begins at 7 PM. Tickets are $20 each; show recommended for ages 18+ due to adult humor and situations.

Opening for Bo will be Adam Pasi, Portland’s Funniest Person 2019 and Finalist in the 2019 Seattle International Comedy Competition is a popular PNW headliner. Adam has recently started to gain more notoriety with a set on Don’t Tell Comedy, as well as an episode of the newly released PBS series Roots of Comedy.

Dorothy Geary, a former math consultant for Grandview and Prosser School Districts, will host the show. Dorothy started comedy at 75, and now produces and hosts her D&D comedy shows in Oregon and Washington.

Disney's Finding Nemo KIDS

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Once on This Island JR

With its poignant story and catchy Caribbean-flavored score, Once on This Island JR. is a highly original theatrical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s popular fairy tale, The Little Mermaid, and the Tony-nominated Broadway musical by the legendary writing team, Ahrens and Flaherty.

Through almost non-stop song and dance, this full-hearted musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. When Daniel is returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island, guide Ti Moune on a quest that will test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and even death.

Evening performances will be Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28 at 7:30 PM. Matinee performances will be Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29 at 2:30 PM.
